Step right up!

My shoulder is still annoyed with me but that’s all right. Was worth it.

On Saturday, my friend dropped off boxes so I can continue my progress and at the same time, why not pick up stuff that I want to take with me? I’ll be crashing there anyway, why wait until the initial move day? Moving as I go along is what I wanted to do and I’m glad he had agreed to do. So now I’m worrying less about the stuff that could get stolen while I’m gone. All the boxes left are stuff for storage and they can steal my crappy writings or misc junk that I have. lol That tv? go for it,it’s dead. Computer? Yep that too. My laptop unfortunately I still have to hide, and bringing it to work is even worse. They steal socks for Lu’s sake.

The only problem I’m having now is sorting through the remaining boxes to minimize them. And then I’ll be able to get to the kitchen stuff. What I really want to do is just stuff everything and just dump it in storage. Which I will have to call for, I’ve come to 3 choices. It’s just the rental to think about and try to squeeze enough crap. Also, we’ll see if I get to work this weekend. But I wouldn’t hold my breath. Everything is so tight right now, and I’m behind bills, and I think I might have to bite the bullet and ask for help with funds. And I despise doing that. Ugh. Anyways, on Thursday, after my doc appointment, I’m gong to go into the main rental office to let them know that I am leaving. Apparently I called to get a receipt mailed to me for rent for last year for tax purposes in April…yep still waiting. So by going in I can make sure it will be done.I’ll have to cancel my net as well, because that’ll take just as long….remember the cable fiasco? Can’t wait.

and my space bar isn’t working properly. please don’t. I”m already struggling with the  U an Y button. :(

Ouch.

I’m already paying for trying to pack my apartment all at once. So from carrying trays all day to carrying boxes home (which kept slipping out of my grip) and taking apart all shelves and moving filled boxes around; my shoulder is hissing with ache.

Although it doesn’t look like I’ve done progress since the whole place is a disaster area with me moving things to one locale to another and going through boxes. I should just deposit everything in a box just for the sake of packing. Ugh. It’s hard to re-start after taking a moment break. I want to work through the night, but I’m exhausted. And I did laundry too.

The reasons why I’m in such a rush : I had another encounter with a maintenance worker that entered my apartment, with a ‘whoops’ and then gone.I did not receive a memo for that day. Annoyed I called the landlord and was informed that there were no need to be in my apartment and also (you’ll love this) they were only supposed to be painting doors on the 6th floor that day; I’m on the 1st.

Really?!

So you can see my displeasure at this.Not only that, this is the 5th incident. 2 of them I was sleeping, had days off, one of those time sick in bed.

I told him that if anything was missing, that he would be held accountable. So since then, Monday, after work, I had been packing my crap. Although it’s a bit hard to do after lifting during the day. Second/third reason is that the rowdy tenants down the hall had started to drink more than usual and had decided to let everyone know with shouting, having fights outside and in the hallways.  The other is the dog above me. These tenants don’t take care of it, before it barked and howled for hours, now it does a pitiful whine. Poor thing. But I can’t stay here anymore. Also rent is too high and with with job#1 not giving out shifts ( I haven’t worked there in over a month) I can’t afford to stay any longer. I’ll be looking for storage starting Monday because of office hours; I just want to transfer my stuff. I’ll be back to crashing at friends. And I hate ‘bumming’. All this stress is not great for my anxiety. I don’t want maintenance deciding to pop in unannounced again, or for the rowdy tenants to finally break my window in a drunken stupor, out of anger for not opening the door or acknowledging their banging on my window or just plain ol’ stealing.

This area is bad but the building had been all right for the past few years, but now had just suddenly become worse last summer. I’m sad to leave the location to how close venues were.

Not only that I don’t feel safe anymore, but it feels like my privacy has been violated.

what if you scrolled past one of those posts that said “like if you love god, scroll down if you love satan” and then a day later you get a call and you pick up the phone and a gruff voice on the other end goes “i heard that you loved me and i just want to say that no one has ever loved me before” and then you guys go on a date and eventually get married and you become queen of hell.

Watching videos of guys playing scary computer/video games and have them girly scream in terror= a great way to spend an afternoon.
